Security and IT people tend to solve things on a global scale, but data protection issues cannot be solved using this method because we need to take into consideration the laws of each country. There needs to be a lot of communication between the different teams, global and operating local ones, to solve the situation on all levels.

Depending on where you look, the level of employee awareness is different. Thus, one of the greatest challenges is making employees who aren’t using IT equipment aware every day by giving them the support they need.

You could ultimately invest your entire budget in security and still not be completely secure. That’s why you need a risk-adjusted approach that focuses on the top risks.
