Her research focuses on enabling chief information security officers (CISOs) and technology executives to lead high-performing security organizations and cultures. Jinan is also an advocate for diversity and inclusion in security. She focuses on ensuring that cyber security teams not only attract but also retain the best talent, bringing a local and global perspective and cultural lens to her research and practice. Prior to joining Forrester, Jinan spent several years as the Director of Cyber Strategy at Transport for NSW and a similar role at Qantas Airlines, which gives her a practical perspective on her research.
